Recently, we checked out Murray's Ice Cream in Westport. Really good. It is generally regarded as the best in KC. The ice cream is homemade. I ordered a "Brown Cow" because it reminded me of my grandmother; she used to make them all the time. Do you know the difference between a root beer float and a brown cow?? I found out at Murray's.We loved Murray's and will definitely go back. Interesting fact: they weighed the ice cream before charging us. Yes, it is priced by the ounce. Different, but good!
