Wednesday night was AWESOME. I heard that expression over and over again from everybody who gathered to celebrate the active life of Christ in those who were baptized.Many times baptismal services are an afterthought or a small part of a church service. But we felt like we wanted to emphasize this significant practice that Christ told us to follow. Giving the night to praise, worship and baptism really allowed the time needed to make it special.
29 individuals entered into the waters of baptism to express their public witness and desire. I pray that God will continue to shine forth in their lives as they learn to yield to Him. Congratulations to all of you who were baptized! Check out the complete slide show over in the right hand column.
